Description

The Niseko Haute Route is a classic winter traverse in Hokkaido, Japan. Let me guide you through this amazing mountain adventure with this 4-day splitboarding tour.

Niseko is known around the world for its incredible ski resorts with large backcountry areas and the most perfect powder snow. It’s located in the slopes of Mount Yotei, 50 kms southeast of Sapporo, the biggest city in the Hokkaido island of Japan.

This 4-day program is meant to connect the Annupuri Ski Resort in Niseko with Mount Raiden that lies in the western shores of the island.

There are many possible peaks and slopes that we can climb up and ride down all along the way: Weisshorn, Shakunage and Mekunnaidake.

Plus, once in the lodge, after a long day out in the snow, we’ll be able to relax in the local Onsens (hot springs) that will help you recover for the next morning.

So, if you are interested in exploring these amazing mountains and riding through the best powder in the world, please send me a request and we’ll start organizing this 4-day splitboarding tour in Niseko Haute Route together. Remember that both snowboarders and skiers are welcomed!

And if you want to try another great snowboarding experience in Hokkaido, please also check my 1+ day off piste snowboarding and splitboarding in Hokkaido.

We had a brilliant couple of days with Jun. At a difficult time in not the best season for Hokkaido, Jun was able to sniff out unexpected powder stashes and we skied some great snow! Really nice guy as well!

Jun is an outstanding guide, a true expert in his field. He was attentive to our needs and desires and very ably provided us with a fantastic experience skiing in the Asahikawa area backcountry. I will book other trips with him and highly recommend him to others!

Jun did an incredible job guiding us through Daisetsuzan National Park. He was attentive, friendly and courteous. His knowledge of the local flora, fauna, and landscape was superb (that rock garden in particular left a deep impression on me). His cooking was superb. And, we felt like we experienced aspects of the Japanese outdoors and culture that are very hard to reach. Andy and I had a phenomenal time.

Jun was a very safe and knowledgeable guide for our one day skiing trip for Yotei. He knew lots about the snowpack and the local wildlife and trees. We felt safe the entire time and really appreciated the pace he went at. Would recommend!
