Experience the refreshing landscapes of the Val d’Herens, Saas Tal, Zermatt, Oberland, Chamonix or Aosta.
Val d’Herens is a lovely valley that stretches across southern Switzerland. Ancient villages sit against the steep slopes.
Saas Tal is home to the highest peaks in Switzerland and host stunning glaciers that create lovely scenery.
Zermatt is a village with dwelling that date back over 500 years. Most of the paths lead from the silent steps of the village to the foot of the wild Matterhorn mountain.
Oberland is a popular southern region that is beautifully diverse, with lakes, trains, hiking trails and snow-capped mountains dotting the landscape.
Chamonix is a commune in France that hugs the borders of Italy and Switzerland and is world-class mountaineering destination. The commune is dominated by the Aiguilles de Chamonix mountain chain, with its peak soaring to Mont Blanc.
Aosta is an ancient Italian town packed with Roman monuments and epic mountains, such as the Grand Combin and Mount Velan.
If you’re struggling for potential objectives, great options include Mont Blanc, the iconic European peak and the highest in the Alps. The Dent Blanche offers a perfect combination of classic ridges with snow-covered rock. The Zinal Rothorn is an unmistakable mountain with its stunning leaning summit. The Gran Paradiso, sitting in Italy’s first national park, is stuffed with woodlands, alpine grasslands and glaciers. And the Douves Blanches Arete.
There are also options to traverse the Eveque, which overlooks the Col Collon mountain pass, or the Mont Blanc de Cheilon, which stands on the Swiss side of the Alps.

More info There is a £100 per person supplement in June and September for extra hotel costs in those weeks. Cable cars/tunnels/trains are not included in the price or estimated costs as these will vary depending upon what you choose to do. You can pay these expenses in cash if/as they arise, together with the guides cost of a 4th or 5th hut night should that be required. |
