The Queyras Regional Natural Park is one of the least known and yet most amazing places in the French Alps. This valley is located right at the border with Italy. This area is not only beautiful but also rich in culture and traditions. The Queyras is dazzling all year round, but winter brings a special glow to it, hard to compare. Discover all that beauty and culture on this 7-day snowshoeing tour.
Even though there are many places to explore snowshoeing during winter in the Alps, the Queyras is one of the best options. Also, you will walk through lovely valleys, with landscapes that will simply take your breath away. The pristine veil of snow that cover the Queyras, makes it a very special thing to be able to walk through it.
Moreover you will learn about the local culture and wildlife. You’ll have the opportunity to a visit to a local house and ecomuseum, and a initiation course to nivology.
And, at the end of every day, you’ll get to relax back in your hotel. You can visit the sauna or simply sit down, get a hot drink and enjoy the hypnotizing views. The Le Grans Tétras hotel has installed gigantic windows so the charm of the winter doesn’t stop once you are inside, and you can still appreciate it from the warmth within.
