Description

Join us on this full-day experience in which we will climb the Ajusco volcano. Its summit is the highest point of Mexico DF and it is only 35 minutes south of the city.

The Ajusco volcano is part of what is known as the Cumbres del Ajusco National Park, a protected area where we can appreciate the most characteristic nature of the region with vegetation dominated by native forests. The area is also known for its stunning fauna: coyotes, weasels, skunks, and wildcats, among others.

This full-day trek consists of a hiking tour of around 8 hours through these incredible forests. We’ll also walk and ascend rocky trails with beautiful views. This is an easy trekking program, suitable for everyone, where we may also head to the Pico del Aguila summit.
