Autonomy on big walls in Ailefroide (6 days, 7 nights)

Located in the heart of the Ecrins massif in the Alps of France, Ailefroide is a lovely village. Surrounded by several peaks and positioned at the bottom of the Vallouise valley, it is truly picturesque. Moreover, it is also home to some amazing big walls that are perfect for climbing. And for a full week, you will get to visit, explore and enjoy those great spots.

There are all kinds of big walls to choose from around Ailefroide. There are large slabs, jagged needles, block courses that range from 200 to 500 meters, and much more. Thus providing you with an experience that will be different every single day.

While enjoyment is the prime objective throughout this trip, I also like to provide tips, advice, instruction and coaching whenever possible. On the slabs and cracks, I will teach you about relaying, rescue techniques and much more. As a result, I believe you will be a better climber at the end of the trip than you were at the beginning.

It is important that participants on this rock climbing trip around Ailefroide can climb at a minimum 5a level. You should also be able to climb on walls autonomously and be in good physical condition.
