Do you like adventures in remote areas with rugged landscapes? Then this backcountry skiing excursion on Big Jay Peak is for you!
The Big Jay Peak is the tallest in Vermont and a magnet for ski enthusiasts. The Jay Peak Resort is the traditional go-to place for those looking for some fun in the snow. However, those looking for an adventure can also explore this stunning mountain in Vermont by going off-piste and into the resort’s surrounding woods. Those that wish to explore the more remote corners of the mountain can join us on this backcountry skiing tour on the Big Jay!
In order to start our backcountry experience, we must access the mountain through the resort. Then, we will need to hike for one or two hours depending on the conditions. It is important to do this with an experienced guide that knows the region. Not only will you receive the proper guidance and help, but you will also avoid getting lost. Certainly not recommended as you will be far away from any kind of assistance! On our tour, we will get the chance to ski between tight trees and try some challenging snow experiences. Perfect for adventure lovers!
Because this is a challenging excursion, it is important that you have a very good fitness level. We also require that you have previous skiing experience. We will be there all the way to assist and guide you on this exhilarating backcountry skiing experience.
Are you ready to explore one of the biggest mountains in Vermont? Book your place now and join us on a unique day in the Vermont mountains!
