Description
Mount Parnitha (1413m) is the highest peak in Greece’s Attica Peninsula and an ideal spot for hiking. This is your chance to explore a lovely area with a local guide. Come join me!
Located less than an hour outside of Athens, this stunning mountain is part of a protected national park and has a wide variety of flora and fauna. The scenary is breathtaking, and you’ll find pine forests, gorges, caves and springs, all at the foot of this impressive peak.
The starting point of our tour is the popular city of Athens. From Athens, we’ll drive to the foothills of Mount Parnitha. You don’t need to worry about your fitness level as there are trails to suit all levels of hikers, from beginner to advanced.

The hike to Mount Parnitha was amazing! If you like nature and you want to get away from busy Athens for a little, this is the best activity. It’s an easy hike and there are plenty of shades. My guide, Dimititris was awesome. He is a true mountain guy and is very knowledgeable about the mountain and about hiking. Highly recommended.
