Join this 6-day hiking and via ferrata trip in the Dolomites and enjoy these beautiful mountains from up high!

Via ferrata allows you to reach the top using ladders, bridges and other devices. Therefore, you should have a very good fitness level and some via ferrata experience!

During this 6-day hiking tour, we’ll cross a section of the Alta Via 1 footpath. The path runs across the eastern Dolomites in Italy. It passes through some of the most stunning scenery in these mountains and is sometimes referred to as the Dolomites’ High Route.

The best period to go on this hike is from mid-June to mid-September. We will meet in Alleghe and, from there, take the lift up to the point where our hike begins. During the first day, we’ll reach the Civetta summit, one of the trip’s highlights!

If you’re looking for shorter via ferrata routes, check out my Cascate de Fanes via ferrata in Cortina. My Marmolada 1-day via ferrata ascent in the Dolomites is also really fun!

So join me and discover this beautiful Italian high route. This hiking and via ferrata tour will be an unforgettable experience!

About the Guide

I started my career as an aerospace engineer, my first passion and then became a full-time IFMGA mountain guide, my second passion, since 2013. Working as a mountain guide gratifies me a lot. I enjoy very much transmitting my knowledge about the mountains and its activities to my friends and clients. I’m based in the Dolomites where I have climbed most of the mountain surroundings us here, including “Via attraverso il Pesce” in Marmolada and “Captain sky-hook” in Civetta. I also enjoy a lot guiding in the rest of the Alps, ice climbing, ski touring, freeride skiing, rock climbing and mountaineering. Feel free to contact me if you want to live a great adventure in the Dolomites or anywhere else in the Alps, during the winter or the summer. It will be a great pleasure for me to guide you and allow you to reach your goal.
