Would you like to enjoy a stunning hiking expedition in Patagonia? Come to El Chalten and join me to explore the Huemul Circuit on this 4-day trip!

El Chalten is a beautiful village in the Argentinean Patagonia, in the Santa Cruz Province. Surrounded by impressive peaks and deep-blue glacial lakes, this area is known as Argentina’s trekking capital.

The Huemul Circuit starts near El Chalten town and traverses around Mount Huemul. It is one of the most popular treks in the región. On this hiking adventure, we will cross different types of terrains -snow, glaciers and moraines- with a rich and varied flora and fauna!

With elevations ranging from 800 to 1600 mts, this unique route will take us to amazing spots such as the Paso de los Vientos hut and Bahia de los Tempanos. For more information, you can check the complete itinerary below.

Please note that for this tour you need a good fitness level. No previous hiking experience is required, but you should be prepared for long hiking days (5 to 8 hours) carrying your backpack (you can hire porters).

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland.
