  • Explore 2 of the most iconic peaks in the Bernese Alps.

  • Contemplate dazzling views form the top of the moutnains.

  • Organize the program according to your preferences.

Let me offer you an amazing mountaineering adventure close to my home. The ascent of 2 of the most iconic 4000-meter peaks of the Bernese Alps: Jungfrau (4158m) and Monch (4107m).

The trip will start in Grindelwald from where we will take the train to reach the Jungfrau joch station (3454m). During the ride, we’ll have the opportunity to stop 2 times (Eismeer and Eiger Nordwand) to admire the breathtaking views the Bernese Alps have to offer.

We will climb Monch on day 1 and stay overnight at Mönchjochhütte. Jungfrau will be ascended on the second day.

Please be aware that you need to have some solid experience walking on crampons on steep (40-45 degrees) and mixed terrain (rock and snow).

I particularly like this ascent because…

  • These 2 peaks are part of the Bernese trilogy, together with Mt Eiger;
  • It’s a varied ascent that can also be done in spring with skis;
  • The views from the top are amazingly beautiful, what a panorama!

You’ll find below the 2-day program. Of course, it could be adapted based on your wishes. If you have less time or no interest in climbing the 2. We could either climb Monch or Jungfrau.

We could also add to the program the ascent of Eiger in order to make the trilogy. Another possibility could be also to go for a beautiful ridge by adding a 3rd day to the program. I would then recommend Engelhörner or Gelmerhörner.

In order to maximize safety, I’ll take a maximum of 2 persons with me. If you are more than that, an IFMGA mountain guide from our team will join us.

Please contact me and let’s discuss what you want to do. I’ll be glad to guide you in this range that I like so much.

About the Guide

Attracted by the mountains since childhood, I started with climbing and alpinism. I then discovered my passion for ski touring.
I started a Young&Sport instructor training to lead young people in the mountain, accompanied by guides. This experience inspired me to become a mountain guide, and I got certified in September 2015.
I work in a guide's office with other guides friends as Stéphane, Raphael, Christian and Jean-Luc, mountain leader.
What I love the most: make people enjoy, allow them to discover a region, laughing, everything in a safe way.
So if there's something you wish, if you dream of exploring a region or country, don't hesitate to contact me.
See you soon for new discoveries!
