The most famous calanques in the world await! This course is targeted to climbers who want to improve their rock climbing skills. Athletes wishing to give rock climbing a try can also sign up. An intermediate-sustained climbing level (5c/6a level, in the French scale) is required as well as a very good physical condition.
With the Mediterranean Sea as a backdrop, the Marseille and Cassis calanques offer strikingly beautiful views of the area and amazing rock climbing conditions. The region’s great weather will only add to an adventure you will never forget!
A minimum of 4 and a maximum of 5 people can take this course together. It is available upon request from the beginning of May to mid-June and from the beginning of September to mid-October.

On the first day, we will meet in Marseille and spend the morning at the beautiful Aiguille Sugiton. We will also do our first big route: the Direct. On the second day, we’ll tackle the Calanque d’En Vau, a 100 meter route with 4 belay stations. Day 3 is reserved for our first aerial route at La Candelle. You’ll enjoy unforgettable views at Castelviel on day 4 and then Morgiou on day 5.

Sébastien is originally from Toulon. Before he dedicated his time fully to his passion, mountaineering, he has completed a degree in Alpine Geography.
His thirst for adventure took him from countries such as Turkey and Peru to the high mountains of Pakistan .
Since 2000, he work as a Mountain Guide in Chamonix, La Clusaz and all over the world.
