Description

Improve your climbing skills and knowledge during this multi-day climbing course! Over the course of 3 half-days and 1 full day, we will practice our technique while exploring some great routes outside of Grenoble or Voiron!

This is the perfect course for intermediate level climbers who want to further develop their climbing skills and abilities in the company of an expert climber. Especially as you begin to explore longer routes, it is important to have the knowledge and practice in place to achieve all your climbing goals!

We will meet for three half-days and one full day. During the half-days, we will practice on cliff routes of 2-3 pitches, while on the final full day we have the opportunity to apply the skills we’ve been practicing on a longer route. The specific routes will be determined based on weather conditions and the skills of the participants, but options include Col du Coq and Ecoutoux. The full day will take place along a longer route in Vercors, Chartreuse, or Taillefer. Topics of instruction will cover: how to build a relay, using a double rope to ascend or descend, and how to choose the right gear.

To participate, you should have climbing level of at least 5b, and be able to climb cliff-length routes. Should you wish, we can arrange a carpool from Grenoble or Voiron.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
