Dare come on this 27-day adventure to the summit of Pobeda Peak in Kyrgyzstan with Misha, an IFMGA-certified mountain guide.

Tian Shan

27 Days

Jul, Aug

Very high

Description

Pobeda Peak is regarded as the toughest of the five summits among all the other peaks in the Tian Shan mountain range. As the highest mountain at 7,439 metres, the summit provides spectacular and breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

As one of the northernmost  7000 m peaks on the globe, climbing Pobeda Peak is a highly challenging. It is physically demanding and a technical mountain to climb. The peak got its name in 1943 when a Soviet team succeeded again in reaching its summit. It means “Victory Peak”.

Our meeting point will be in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, and on the following morning we will transfer to Karkara base camp (460 m). On the next day, we will fly by helicopter to base camp “South Inylchek” (4000 m) and after two days of acclimatizing and preparing for the climb we will start the ascent to camp N1, located at Zvjozdochka glacier at 4600 m.

You can check the day-by-day itinerary below this text.

Keep in mind that is this expedition is definitely not for beginners! All climbers need to have considerable mountaineering experience and be in great physical shape to attempt the ascent of “the coldest mountain on earth”.

So if are you ready for this once-in-a-lifetime adventure, I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have. Just request to book this trip and let's start planning!

Also, if you´d like to go on another adventure in the Tian Shan range, we can make it together to Khan Tengri summit.
