Description

I’m happy to invite you to live an unforgettable 6 day trip in Cerces and Ecrins. Both are great rock climbing spots to practice some multi-pitch rock climbing and improve your safety skills.

Rock climbing in Cerces is technical and varied because the limestone there is quite compact and well protected. The approach walks can be significant, reinforcing the alpine character of the site. On the other side, rock climbing in Ecrins is on an alpine granite with compact slabs and cracks, where the equipment is not always complete.

During these 6 days I will teach you the main top rope climbing techniques on different rock types in the beautiful limestone mountains of Cerces and the granite of the Ecrins. You will also learn:
– Climbing techniques with very varied styles.
– Safety techniques.
– Progression techniques specific for multi-pitch routes as how to build an anchor and manage a safety abseiling.
– How to feel confident on equipped multi-pitch routes and on trad.
– Self rescue and rescue techniques.

All participants must have a 5b technical level. That means that previous rock climbing experience is needed as well as a good physical condition.

Come climb with me to Cerces and Briançon and learn while enjoying a unique trip. Click on the green button and make your reservation now. It’ll be my pleasure to be your guide!

My girlfriend and I climb at very different levels. We spent a half day climbing with Ivan, and he was able to give us each the instruction that we needed. Whether you are new to climbing or highly experienced, Ivan is the perfect guide to help you develop the skills needed to climb the rocks at Fontainebleau and learn how to navigate around the circuits and the forest.

We had a fantastic experience climbing with 10 friends, all unexperienced but looking for a challenge. Our guides were Willy and Marie, they picked a great spot for us in Rochers du Camp Commando de Marche les Dames. We went for a full day which allowed us a perfect combination of Via Ferrata and mountain climbing. Willy kept us well-informed up front, gave useful tips and even arranged climbing shoes for all of us. Throughout the day they were very flexible to accommodate our wishes and make sure we had the best possible day. Would absolutely recommend!

Ivan was an amazing coach and climbing guide for my 12 year old daughter. He was patient, found the best boulders for her to climb, gave her some excellent climbing technique tips, and helped her mentally on how to make the most of her time at Fontainebleau. It was such a great experience for her. A huge thank you to Ivan!!!

Inoubliable.

Really pleased with our trip. There was a slight mis-communication with the booking so we ended up needing to pay a bit more than originally told but overall a really good service. Vladimir was a great guide. Very calm and supportive. We had a fantastic time.

Tout parfait, guide, site. Mais explore share devrait éviter de changer de langue sans arrêt dans ses messages aux utilisateurs. Certain messages en anglais, puis d'autres en français, puis de nouveau en anglais. Ca change tout le temps.

We finally opt for the Grand-Malades (instead of Pont à Lesse) based on explo share advices. We really enjoyed it. The guide was really great! Thanks

Great adventure! Sadly les Calanques we’re closed due to fire risk; however, our guide, Guillaume, found another climbing location for us (Saint-Victoire), which was beautiful and fun as well. A note to those from the states — what you climb in the gym ≠ what you climb outside. Make sure to communicate that, otherwise, be ready to be pushed!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Ivan. He led me and my two children on an amazing first day of outdoor bouldering. We all had some indoor bouldering experience, but this was the perfect introduction to bouldering outside. Ivan is very knowledgeable, a great teacher and very patient. We all had a great time and the trip was everything I’d hoped for and more. Merci beaucoup!

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences, and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenges which I thoroughly enjoyed (I climb regularly in a gym and occasionally outdoor sport routes). The view was fantasitic as well. I also learned a lot from Guillaume about all the good climbings in Southern France (definitely coming back in the future!) The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear - highly recommend!
