Rock climbing tour in the Grand Canyon du Verdon, southern France

The Grand Canyon du Verdon in southern France is a jaw-dropping, breath-taking and special place to indulge in rock climbing, and I will lead you on this adventure where we will tour around the myriad of spots and facets of the canyon, tackling the various climbs and routes available to us while also taking the time to admire the magnificent, epic and awesome views out over the scenery.

The Grand Canyon du Verdon is a river canyon located in the South of France, approximately 100km from the French Riviera, and is widely considered to be the most beautiful canyon in Europe, owing to its rich and lush turquoise-green colour of the water.

Over the course of this trip we will try and climb on as many routes and rock faces as possible, with each place catering to rock climbers of all levels of ability, from beginner to expert. We endeavor to improve your confidence and take your rock climbing to the next level.

The routes range anywhere from 100-400m high, with popular ones including The Herbetto, The Ula, Pichenibule and Mescalito.

The highlight for many on this trip is of course the scarcely-believable sweeping panoramic views out over the water below, the lush green water sparkling and the tree-lined canyon faces framing the picture-perfect setting.
