Description

The cliff of Aiglun is a gem nestled in the hinterland of Nice. Its rock is one of the most varied and we will meet climbing routes among the finest of the south of the France.

Rock climbing is a great source of pleasure and sensations. An activity in itself, it is also the founding basis for other areas such as ice climbing, mixed mountaineering and rocky terrain. And when you try it's hard to stop…

The main climbing roads are a little trip. Each with its characteristic mixture of pleasure and discovery, in addition to physical improvement. Routes here range from 100m to 400m high and there are options for all levels. Each cliff offers introductory paths, perfect to learn pitch climbing.

The cliff is accessible for 'confirmed' to 'expert' levels (6a to 8a).

Here is a selection of walls I really like:

  • Déjà vu 6a
  • Goutte à goutte 6b
  • La cerise sur le gâteau 6c+
  • L’écharpe 7b
  • L’artisan 7c

There are several other awesome climbing spots in the south of France where I like to bring my friends and clients for some unforgettable moments in the outdoor, close to the sea:

I will take maximum four people with me. The program, the dates and the duration will be discussed together and defined according to your wishes. The dates are set for you. We can climb in Aiglun all year round. If you are more than 4, I will be guiding together with a friend of mine, IFMGA certified as well.

I can lend you part of the technical equipment.

I invite you to contact me if you want to come here to climb. I am from the south of France, I know these places as the back of my hand. I'd be happy to take you there and help you organize your stay.

What people are saying about E-S Adventure Guides

Rob

Rachel

We had a great time bouldering with Léo who was really enthusiastic and encouraging, and who selected a good range of boulders to suit our different strengths whilst still being challenging. Would definitely recommend this as a great way to get introduced to outdoor bouldering at Fontainebleau.

Ruth

Willy was a brilliant instructor and guide. He took us on the Pont a Lesse beginners via ferrata, then onto a slightly harder section, and finally a short top-roped climb. We climbed with our 10 and 12 year olds and he was brilliant and making sure they followed all the safety rules, gave them good advice and on a particularly tricky vertical section, used a top rope for extra security. He was really encouraging and great company. He communicated well beforehand and his English was excellent. He also used to be a photographer before he became a climbing instructor, and he took some fabulous photos which he shared with us afterwards. We had a fantastic time and I would definitely recommend going on a trip with him.

Denis

Oak

Ivan was aan excellent guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the area, very friendly and approachable. He tailored the day to our experience and gave us loads of great tips to increase our enjoyment and improve our skills. I would highly recommend a day's bouldering with Ivan.
