The Tour du Mont Blanc is a mythical hiking trail that circles the Mont Blanc Massif, and passes through France, Italy and Switzerland. Every summer, thousands of hikers from all over the world hop into this unforgettable adventure to enjoy its breathtaking views, exciting local wildlife and authentic local culture and cuisine. Join me and experience this outstanding hike for yourself.

Mont Blanc offers hundreds of activities for all outdoor lovers during all the seasons. You can hike, paraglide, ski, mountaineer, climb, mountain bike, golf, and enjoy many other activities. It also offers stunning views from all its corners. It is located in the Alps, on the border between France, Italy and Switzerland.

For this adventure, I propose the following itinerary. It may change depending on weather conditions, your personal preference or the type of accommodation you choose:

First day: Arrival at Chamonix from the Geneva airport. Short breifing about the trip.

Second day: Our hike will begin from Les Houches. We’ll take the Bellevue lift, climb a mountain pass and finish at Les Contamines, where we’ll spend the night.

Third day: We’ll go from Les Contamines to Les Chapieux, and pass through the Notre Dame de la Gorge church and Col du Bonhomme.

Fourth day: We’ll travel to Courmayeur by bus and pass through Col de la Seigne, Val Veny and the Combal lake, Italy.

Fifth day: Rest day in Courmayeur.

Sixth day: Bus ride to Val Ferret. We’ll cross to Switzerland and finish the day at La Fouly or Champex.

Seventh day: We’ll cross the dazzling mountain pass Fenetre d’Arpette and finish at Trient.

Eighth day: Climb to Col de Balme, France. We’ll descend to Le Tour and ride the bus to Chamonix.

Ninth day: Easy hike on the Aiguille Rouge Natural Reserve and Lac Blanc.

Tenth day: Transfer Chamonix – Geneva airport.

I´m a UIMLA-certified Bulgarian mountain leader based in Chamonix, France. I started guiding in my home mountains in Bulgaria as a mountain leader in the summer and a splitboarding guide in the winter.
