Riffelhorn (2928m) is one of the most popular mountains to climb in the Swiss Alps, as its location right in the middle of the valley between Matterhorn and Monte Rosa, as well as its truly epic and sweeping views from the summit mean it is the ideal mountain to climb before attempting some of the more more difficult and challenging nearby mountains.
Mountain climbing on Riffelhorn is a great way for beginners to test themselves on a fun, rewarding Swiss Alps mountain, and also for more advanced climbers to train for higher ascents. Either way it offers something for everyone.
