One of the highest peaks in the Alps, Dent Blanche (4357m) is a great mountaineering classic in the Swiss canton of Valais. The mountain has four faces and its four ridges famously point in the four cardinal directions. The regular route ascends via the south ridge and, although it’s the easiest option, it is not suitable for beginners (rated AD). With the Matterhorn directly behind it, expect great views all along the climb. Explore-Share.com only promotes mountain trips led by certified guides.

Fantastic Guide! Friendly, fun and competent. In preparation for our planned tour, we did a couple of outings. Enrico is just top! He takes time to assess the condition of the mountain and the technical ability of the guest to decide the best course. One always feels safe with Enrico. In addition to above he is just a great all-round guy to hang out with. I look forward to many more trips with him!
