The Verdon Gorge is a premium attraction for rock climbing enthusiasts. This is your opportunity to spend three days heading up its scenic vertical routes with an expert: join me!
The Verdon Gorge is a river canyon located in southeastern France, within the Alpes-de-Haute Provence. It consists of a 25km long and 700-meter deep limestone formation carved by the Verdon River. Protected by the Verdon Natural Regional Park, it is often considered one of Europe’s most beautiful gorges.
This iconic and internationally renowned area is perfect for rock climbing adventures. Situated near the glamorous French Riviera, its landscape is dominated by impressive cliffs and the turquoise-green color of the Verdon River.
On our 3-day trip, we will climb exciting walls that we will pick according to your skills and wishes. Verdon Gorge offers over 1,500 routes with options for all tastes: single pitch and multi-pitch, sport and trad! There are also lines for all levels, from short friendly routes to huge walls! However, this trip requires a good fitness level and some experience in multi-pitch climbs.
The nearby villages of Verdon Gorge, Castellane, Moustiers-Sainte-Marie and La Palud, are considered to be some of the most charming and picturesque in France. Far from city pollution and surrounded by awesome scenery, you will spend an unforgettable vacation!

I am Reccardo Olliveri, class 1975, registered to the Alpine Guide College of Piemonte since 2002 and graduated in environment and territory engineering at the Turin technical college. I live at Turin, but I am resident in the Alps where I practice the mountaineering activity all through the year; I love the void and I play every time I can; on rock, ice, dry tooling and also skiing.
Its with great passion that I continue practicing the mountaineering activity and I dedicate myself to pass on to all those interested to know, the spirit and the ability to dedicate oneself close to the mountain in all its forms.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
