Come and enjoy some spectacular view points of the Paklenica National Park in Croatia on this hiking tour with Danijela, a UIMLA Mountain Leader and CMGA guide.
Explore the beautiful Paklenica national park in Croatia.
Stand high above the park and bask in the amazing viewpoints.
Taste some local brandy in a 100 year old mountain hut.
The Paklenica national park is a sprawling area full of natural beauty and wonder. Full of lush green, canyons and more, it is a great place to spend a day and a great place to escape any stresses you may want to leave behind.
From the park entrance, we will begin our trek that will last approximately 8 hours including breaks and lunch at the hut. From forests to ridges, you will get to enjoy fantastic viewpoints of the park. And because we will be hiking at an altitude of approximately 850 meters, you will get to admire the Paklenica national park from a number of fantastic vantage points.
A couple of great highlights that we will visit during this trip include a 100 year old mountain hut, where you can enjoy some local food and brandy tasting. And if you’re really hungry, you can have some peka, which is a delectable barbecue dish. We will also visit an area full of houses built into the rocks called Sklopina.
This is a moderate level trip. We will be trekking on rocky terrain along with the tourist trail. As a result, participants on this trip should have some previous hiking experience. You should also be in good physical condition.
Trekking through the Paklenica national park is a memorable experience. And to enjoy that experience all you have to do is send me a request. The views you will get during this trip are incredible, so be sure to bring your camera!
I also lead a shorter, easier version of this trek that will take you through the Velika Paklenica canyon.

I was born in Zadar, but I grew up at the base of Velebit, the greatest Croatian mountain, and this shaped the rest of my life. Living in the nature gave me everything I dreamed of. In the same place I had mountains, river and the sea.
I am CMGA certified (Croatian Mountain Guide Association) and UIMLA guide (2013).
I love to explore new destinations, sharing them with nature lovers. And there's more than just the adventure. Indeed, I will take you to discover the locations learning the local people way of living and trying the traditional local food.
In the end, my goal is for you to take home the best memories of this experience!

So much fun, the highlight of my month in Croatia! I did two days with this company, 1 day rock climbing and 1 day hiking in Paklenica. Danijela and Ferdo were great guides, they tailored both days according to my experience/skill and what I wanted to see/do. They were really great company and provided lots of information about Paklenica national park and taught me about Croatian culture and history. During the rock climbing they provided advice on how to improve my technique. Danijela maintained great contact in the few days leading up to the activities (in case the weather turned bad and we would be unable to proceed or have to change routes). Additionally they helped organise lunch at one of the mountain huts during - I didn\'t even know this was an option and would have no idea how to do this without their help. The experience itself was heaps of fun, the hike had great views and the rock climbing I was able to push myself in an outdoor terrain, a step up from indoor rock climbing. As a solo traveller it was good to know that I was with two skilled professionals incase something happened during the hike/climb. Overall a fantastic experience, I will definitely go back if I return to Croatia.
