Located in the Pennine Alps in Switzerland, Grand Combin is a mountain massif with several summits, including 3 over 4,000m: the highest is Combin de Grafeneire (4314m), followed by Combin de Valsorey (4183m) and Combin de la Tsessette (4,134m). There is no easy route to the summit. The normal route ascends via the mountain’s north-west face and is quite challenging. Hire a professional guide and reach the summit safely. Explore-Share.com only promotes mountain trips led by certified guides.

We did the traverse of Grand Combin from Cabane de Valsorey over Valsorey, Grafeneire and Tsessette, arriving at lac Mauvoisin via Arête de Boussine. Daniel is an excellent guide and great company. It was a long tour, and Daniel made sure that it was always safe and enjoyable finding the best way up on Arête du Meitin in the dark.
