Alpine climbing day in Aiguille du Midi via Arête des Cosmiques

It is no secret that Chamonix is the starting point for some of the most iconic climbs in the world.  The Arete des Cosmiques is just one of the classic routes that are accessible from the French town.  During this 1 day trip, we will ascend the Aiguille du Midi via this incredible route.  Our ascent will take us over a mixed terrain of rock and snow, including some spectacular granite.  At about 4,000 m of altitude, we will be rewarded with incredible views of the surrounding glaciers of the Mont Blanc massif.

I recommend that participants climb grades of at least level 4 (using the French system).  Plus, participants should come with the desire to spend the day conquering this iconic route in the heart of the high altitude mountains of the Alps!
