Description

If you want to improve your skills in ice & mixed climbing, this advanced course around Courmayeur is your best choice.

This beautiful alpine town of the Aosta Valley is the perfect scenery for this course.

You'll challenge yourself in high mountain trips, practicing different climbing techniques in some peaks of the iconic Mont Blanc massif.

Among other things, you'll hone your skills for multi-pitch, simul-climbing and ice climbing. Besides, we'll use crampons in rock climbing routes up to grade 3+ and practice ice axe techniques like piolet traction on 50° / 60° slopes. Finally, we'll learn safety techniques.

After this course, you'll be ready to approach higher summits.

We did a 1 day Ferrata with Marica. We've both never climbed a Ferrata before but we are both good hikers. We enjoyed our trip very much and you don't need to be a climber. Marica took good care of us and she is very informative with the local geography and history. We felt very safe with her. If you are traveling near the Dolomite and want to try something a bit out of your comfort zone, I highly recommend doing a ferrata especially with Marica. We did both ferrata ra gusela nuvolau and ferrata-averau. It took us about 6 hours.
