Tucked away in the Pennine Alps in Switzerland near Zermatt, Mount Allalinhorn stands tall at 4,027 meters. Despite its height, it’s actually one of the easiest mountains to climb in the alps and is great for beginner mountaineers.
Allalinhorn can be climbed in one to two days departing from Saas-Fee. To make the most of your trip here, you could combine this climb with an ascent of Weissmies (4017 m) and Alphubel (4,206m). Although these are all beginner climbs they are not a walk in the park. It’s essential that you embark on these climbs with a good level of fitness and the help of an experienced and certified guide.
